About
Love old music from the 1960s, though am looking for more recent music too which I can appreciate with the help of ABC Dig Music, but I've also been known to listen to some Paul Whiteman & Bing Crosby from the late 20s/30s. I also enjoy folk from The Almanac Singers, Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie & Co. to stuff like The Kingston Trio & Peter, Paul & Mary as well.

Another nice song "Norway (I Like it Like This)" :)
When I hear "I'm Barely There" by this guy, I think of The Eagles. :D
"Only Light" is a nice song, the lead vocalist sounds a bit like Steve Winwood. :)
I don't know why, but when I hear this song, I think of this being some track from a James Bond film. :D
Heard "Out Of Our Tiny Lil' Minds" which sounded interesting.
Nice, liked "Solitude" :)
Donovan's a bit of a hit and miss, seem to prefer his earlier material (Catch the Wind, Sunny Goodge Street, Gold Watch Blues & I'll Try for the Sun) compared to psychedelic Donovan, just depends on the song though, otherwise an interesting UK rival to Dylan. :)
"Stranger" is a nice song.
Enjoy Peter Brown, some of his other songs are good too.
It just Melts. :D
Another Aussie group I haven't heard in Ages.
For an English Group, they did some really good Dylan Songs. :)
Ages ago I heard a Velvet Underground song with Nico done in the late 60s on ABC Dig Music and was blown away. Guess no-one will know which song it was? :(
Enjoy "Clovis' Son", sounds like something the band "America" would do. :D
Unusual song "Two Weeks", though I liked it. :D
Also like Taxi. :)
When in Romeā¦, has Penguin Cafe Orchestra in fine form. :D
The Flare in her music keeps me interested.
Nice song "Shake it Down". :)
I thought I was listening to some rare Doors song when I heard "Astral Plane".
25/2 - Interesting that version of "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" sounds different to another popular version I've heard with a reduction of Backing Vocals and the Organ doesn't seem to be as dominant in the song. Still a great song though, which is still as relevant as it was in the 60s even Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) sings it well in more current times. :)
"Cherry Blossom Girl" is so unusual.
"Lucidity" sure has an edge to it. :D
"They Listen Out" is a nice jangley tune.
Enjoyed "It Is Not Meant To Be". Initially I thought it might of been the Beatles. :D
I enjoy "Don't Look Back in Anger", "Wonderwall" & I probably know some other Oasis songs, though I need to look into them further before Recommending them :( Can anyone advise from those 2 songs if Oasis is worth checking out? They sound a little bit like the Who, wouldn't surprise me if that was one of their Influences. :)
"Off Point" sounds interesting, please play some more please. :D
Decided to give "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" a dust off and a spin on the old Turntable eh? Haven't heard this in Yonks.:)
Jessica's a nice song.
I really liked "Dirty City". Steve is still in Fine Form. :D
This Mighty band "The Lovin' Spoonful" seems to have two pages about them, check out:

:)
Plus the Link for this group on the Just played page is broken. :( They are a fantastic group which were only around for a short period of time, though have made some wonderful songs. :)
please correct the artist link to:

:)
That was some Super Bad Jazz song. :)
"Talking Like I'm Falling Down Stairs" - so unusual.
Quite liked "Too Young", need to hear more of their songs. :)
I could see that Martha song getting stuck in my head. :D
Haven't heard Tin Soldier in Yonks, thanks. :)
Interesting Song Jona Vark.
Not really a "Space Saviour" fan from Untitled #23, though I like the other tracks from #23 and the Pangaea EP is just amazing with the eerie "So Love May Find Us" running for nearly 18 minutes. :)
The Piano in "Video Games" sets the whole tone for the song. 8o
Heard "Practice What You Preach" a couple of times which is good. Always seem to miss their other songs. :(
I find his music interesting - have enjoyed some of his compositions from the Music for Films interesting as well.
"7 & 7 Is" - definitely something one would have to get into. "Forever Changes" is the Love album I kind of go for, though it's the Musical arrangements which make it appealing for myself - e.g. "You Set The Scene". "7 & 7 Is" has those lyrical influences from Arthur Lee which are found on "Forever Changes", though with less depth in the Musical implementation. Check out this band if you like songs like "I am the Walrus" from the Beatles. 8D
Just heard Bury This.
Just heard "Black Death 1349" which seems so eerie, though I liked it. 8o
Interesting. :)
After listening to "Sunday Morning", by Velvet Underground I'm more intrigued, that particular didn't seem to sound 60s, though I couldn't put an era for that song.
Just heard Tidal Wave. Interesting. Though it might of been Paul Simon. 8D
Haven't heard of this group before, interesting song Buffalo Country. 8D
Nice song Seek What You'll Find.
Enjoyed the Musical Orchestration on Black Moon.
She does a very nice cover of the Jimmy Webb song "P.F. Sloan".
Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Intervention kind of reminds me of 60s Pink Floyd, enjoyed Hungry Freaks, Daddy. :)
Enjoyed April Bloom. :)
Interesting Song Gameplan.
Enjoyed "Roll Em Pete", I had no idea it was done in 1939.
What an interesting usually different song - Paranoid Andriod.
They have some great songs. 8D
That was an interesting combination playing "One Day Like This" by Elbow followed by "So You Want To Be A Rock 'N' Roll Star" by the Byrds. Their Younger Than Yesterday Album is a Gold Mine of Fantastic Tracks. "Renaissance Fair" is considered to be another Gem from that Album. :)
I Love One Day Like This - fantastic. :)
Seem to have some interesting music. :)
Barbados - this brings back memories. Nice song from the Models. :)
I enjoy recent works from The Church, and found this to be quite interesting. Thanks for Sharing. :)
Enjoying "Don't Let it" break your heart. 8D
Familiar with Sunshine. Interesting song. Thumbs up! :)
Ever so Lonely - what an unusual song, I wouldn't have figured that to be an early 80s song! :) Interesting.
It's nice to hear a few other songs from Procol Harum instead of the usual Whiter Shade of Pale. :D
Interesting 80s song, don't remember this one from the 80s.
I've been enjoying all the songs I've heard from them too. :)
Enjoyed Caravan :)
Love "Seen So Right", though need to hear their other tracks! :( "Lonely in your arms" also appeals, I guess it's the Beatle style of song which has that appeal.
Interesting.
