Geoff Bridgford is an Australia singer songwriter who started his music career as a drummer in the late sixties playing for two hugely popular Australian bands ‘Steve and the Board’ and the ‘The Groove’ who won the coveted first prize (a trip to the UK)( in the Hoadley’s National Battle of the Sounds competition in 1968. It was in London in 1970 that Geoff found international success as the drummer for The Bee Gees playing on songs that were released on four albums and eight singles, receiving two Gold Records for the million selling hits ‘Lonely Days’ and the Bee Gees first number one in the USA ‘How Can You Mend A Broken Heart’. After leaving the Bee Gees’ in 1972 Geoff continued his musical journey on the world stage as an international recording and touring drummer and also as a singer songwriter. After living in the USA and Europe for many years Geoff now resides in Australia. His new intimate album “Another World” has been receiving rave reviews and the video clip of “Ordinary Man” from the album was voted one of You Tube Australia’s most viewed music videos the week it was uploaded.
