Let me recommend this great little festival. Compact and easy to get around to see some great music. Nice atmosphere and feeling amongst people attending. Next year's line up looks fantastic, especially if you're into Americana/ roots music - Nanci Griffith, Uncle Earl and the Whitetop Mountaineers for starters. Be there!
'fellow Canadian' hotshod? Anyway, agreed, Emmylou's latest albums are excellent, ground-breaking. But her earlier albums from the 70's are what country music should be! Try Luxury Liner, Quarter Moon in a Ten Cent Town, or the bluegrassy Roses in The Snow for starters.

She's great, and the band. Sorry to have missed her live.
