Ben Harper and Jai on Bluesfest dodgems 1997

My son Jai, daughter Yani and I met Ben Harper backstage because we were helping a caterer. Ben and the rest of the Innocent Criminals were hanging out in a little caravan with Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam (not on the bill, just visiting). We told them there was a dodgem car track out in the festival grounds and Ben came out with us and rode around on these funny little cars with Jai, who was 16 and a very big fan of Ben Harper. Another magic Bluesfest moment!
