Yunupingu blazes trail for Indigenous musos
Skinnyfish Music is the label which released the multi award-winning debut album by blind singer-songwriter Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu.
The deal was prompted by Yunupingu's success in Europe, with his album having sold 150,000 copies there already.
It’s hoped the deal will see more artists from the Northern Territory receive international exposure.
