Perth psych-rockers Tame Impala have been added to the Homebake bill and have announced a run of shows in December.

The band - which it turns out is effectively frontman Kevin Parker's solo project - will visit Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth in addition to their Homebake appearance on December 8, showcasing album number 2 Lonerism, released last week.

TAME IMPALA TOUR DATES:

Thursday, December 6 – The Forum, Melbourne, VIC
Tuesday, December 11 – HQ, Adelaide, SA
Wednesday, December 12 – The Tivoli, Brisbane, QLD
Friday, December 14 – Enmore Theatre, Sydney, NSW
Saturday, December 15 – Fremantle Arts Centre, Perth, WA
