Yet another brick?
Following an impromptu set at a UK Benefit gig last week, Gilmour has now agreed to appear on one date of Roger Waters’ 30th anniversary tour of ‘The Wall’.
Explaining how the unlikely olive branch materialised, Waters wrote on his Facebook page that the idea was part of Gilmour’s attempts to coax his former bandmate in to appear at the Benefit.
"If you do 'To Know Him Is To Love Him' I'll come and do 'Comfortably Numb' on one of your Wall shows", wrote Waters of the proposed deal.
“I was blown away”, he continued. "End of story. Or possibly beginning."
