Van Morrison is set to release a feature-length documentary about his seminal album 'Astral Weeks'.

Van has announced that he will be releasing the documentary To Be Born Again early next year. The film will draw on live performances, interviews, rehearsals and other behind-the-scenes footage. Morrison will direct the film and is apparently hoping to finally tell his story the way he wants it to be told.

Since November last year, Van has been revisiting Astral Weeks in his live performances and has even released a live album with accompanying film, Astral Weeks: Live at the Hollywood Bowl.
