Arctic Monkeys, Adele and The Prodigy are among the nominees for this years' AIM Independent Music Awards.

The Cribs, Django Django, Grimes and Alabama Shakes are also up for gongs at the awards, which celebrate UK independent music.

Post Hardcore metallists Enter Shikari lead the nominations with three nods for Best Live Act, Hardest Working Band and Independent Album of the Year, for their third album, 'A Flash Flood Of Colour'. Dig Music Feature Album alumni Alabama Shakes are in second place with two nominations for Independent Breakthrough Of The Year and Independent Album Of The Year for their album 'Boys & Girls'.
