You Am I frontman Tim Rogers has yet another new side project in the works.

The band, The Gung Hoes, includes You Am I guitarist Davey Lane, Pete Satchell, guitarist with Dallas Crane and drummer Evan Richards from Mebourne band Cold Harbour.

This collaboration is the latest in a series of side projects for Rogers, who has played and released albums previously with The Twin Set, The Temperance Union and Tex Perkins, as well as recording a number of solo albums.

The Gung Hoes will play their first gig next month at Yah Yah’s in Melbourne on Thursday September 10.
