The band, The Gung Hoes, includes You Am I guitarist Davey Lane, Pete Satchell, guitarist with Dallas Crane and drummer Evan Richards from Mebourne band Cold Harbour.
This collaboration is the latest in a series of side projects for Rogers, who has played and released albums previously with The Twin Set, The Temperance Union and Tex Perkins, as well as recording a number of solo albums.
The Gung Hoes will play their first gig next month at Yah Yah’s in Melbourne on Thursday September 10.

Tim Rogers (born Timothy Adrian Rogers 20 September 1969) is an Australian musician, best known as the frontman of Australian rock band You Am I. He is also a solo artist, as well as having fronted and released albums with bands The Twin Set and The Temperance Union.
