Thom Yorke’s art appeal
In a post on Radiohead’s official website, Yorke wrote that they were after:
"2000 people who want to be part of human King Cnut type image facing the sea that is visible from space as part of the Earth350"
Earth350 is the global climate campaign, which will see 16 massive art projects taking place around the globe until 28th November.
It is the world's first ever global climate change art project and comes as politicians meet in Mexico to discuss the issue of climate change.
This is not for the faint-hearted however, a message on the site explains: “we will create the human sculpture even if it rains and is stormy”.
Meanwhile, Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood, last week confirmed that the band are still working on the follow-up to 2007's 'In Rainbows' album.
