The Who to return
Roger Daltrey will reunite with Pete Townshend - who feared his live career may be over because of his hearing loss - for a string of North American dates performing the rock opera in full, beginning on November 1.
"I really love playing all of Quadrophenia," Townshend said. "It's a unique piece for me".
The duo will be joined onstage by Pino Palladino, Pete's younger brother Simon Townshend, Zak Starkey (son of Ringo) and Chris Stainton, plus Loren Gold and Frank Simes, who both toured with Daltry in 2009.
Australian fans will no doubt be hoping that Daltrey will be keen to make good on this year's cancelled Bluesfest appearance, where he was due to perform the band's other rock opera Tommy.
