Aug 9, 2010 Updated Aug 10, 2010

Some people call him the Space Cowboy, some call him the Gangster of Love; next year, some people will call him…Professor.

Veteran rocker Steve Miller is set to take up a post at the University of Southern California’s prestigious Thornton School of Music.

As Artist in Residence, Miller will work on a regular basis with undergraduate students in the Popular Music and Music Industry programs.

“Professor Miller will be a great addition to our already illustrious faculty,” said the school’s dean, Robert Cutietta.
