Spinal Tap
Nov 17, 2010 Updated Dec 10, 2010

What do YOU reckon is the best Rock & Roll movie of all time?

Well, according to RockandRollTribe.com, which is a sort of Facebook for veteran rock fans, Rob Reiner's 1984 epic Spinal Tap is the clear winner, streets ahead of its nearest competition, The Beatles' Hard Day's Night.

"Spinal Tap is more of a cultural icon than a film at this point," says Jon Bard, RockandRollTribe.com's co-founder. "Every musician knows it by heart".

Here's their top ten...do you agree?:

1, This is Spinal Tap
2. A Hard Day's Night
3. The Blues Brothers
4. Rock n Roll High School
5. Almost Famous
6. That Thing You Do
7. All You Need Is Cash (The Rutles)
8. High Fidelity
9. Quadrophenia
10. Yellow Submarine
11. Purple Rain
