Students at Oklahoma's Academy of Contemporary Music had an unusual class last week – their teacher was none other than mike-twirling Who frontman Roger Daltrey.

The singer was introduced by Flaming Lips manager Scott Booker, who is also the school’s CEO, before Daltrey said his piece and  took questions from the audience.

‘Professor’ Daltrey's talk covered interpersonal band dynamics, the musical merits of Pete Townshend's guitar-smashing antics and the importance hearing protection.
