Sydney Soundwave bans kids
The Sydney Showgrounds venue has imposed the age restriction forcing the festival to announce that any ticket holders 14 and under cannot attend and 15 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Parents and other ticket holders affected by the restrictions have taken to Soundwave’s facebook page to voice their disappointment, including one parent who had purchased tickets for her daughter as a Christmas present “I’m sure you have reasons for your poor judgement and lack of caring.” She said.
Ticket refunds are available for those affected by the change.
