Legendary soul singer Al Green heads up a strong musical contingent at next year's Sydney Festival.

US alt.country songstress Neko Case, Velvet Underground alumni John Cale and a piratical ensemble featuring Marianne Faithfull and New York Doll David Johansen are just a few of the many highlights hitting the harbour city between January 9 and 30 - for full details head to the official festival site
