Queens of The Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen told spinner.com the following terrifying tale:
"There was one time when we performed an appendectomy, backstage in Munich. We forgot the anaesthesia. I do know how to perform these operations, but I'd had too much to drink that day. But she's okay." Troy seemed reluctant to provide further details, saying "It's a medical slash legal matter and I can't say much more than that."
With the band about to arrive in Oz for a series of shows, any punters feeling a little under the weather are advised to steer well clear of the backstage area...just in case.
