Elbow, Pulp, James Blake, The Kills and The Hives have announced Splendour sideshows dates, with more acts expected to follow suit.

However Coldplay and Kanye West have confirmed that they won’t be following up their festival appearance with extra shows whilst they're in Oz.

Most of the sideshows are for Melbourne and Sydney but some bands are heading south to Adelaide and across to Perth.

Tickets for all shows go on sale May 27.
