Nominees for the Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA) Awards have been announced.

Nominated for the top award - Song of the Year - are Sarah Blasko's All I Want, Troy Cassar-Daley’s Big Big Love, first-time nominees Temper Trap’s Sweet Disposition, Kate Miller-Heidke’s Last Day on Earth and Empire of The Sun’s track We Are The People.

The awards will be handed out at a ceremony in Sydney on June 21.

The Temper Trap is an Australian indie rock band which formed in 2005. The core members are Jonathon Aherne on bass guitar and vocals, Toby Dundas on drums and programming, Dougy Mandagi on vocals and guitar, and Lorenzo Sillitto on guitar, keyboards and vocals. They are supplemented on tours with Joseph Greer on keyboards and guitar. In 2008, the group relocated from Melbourne to London. The...
