Online murmurs about the project, published on a Dylan-dedicated magazine’s website, certainly say so.
Isis magazine reported that Dylan had recorded a collection of Christmas jingles – including Here Comes Santa Claus and O Little Town of Bethlehem - in Jackson Browne’s studio in Santa Monica, California, back in May.
Growing up decidedly Jewish, Dylan publicly converted to Christianity for a period during the late 70s and early 80s, and released three religious-themed albums.
English magazine Uncut has poked fun at the project, making puns on Dylan songs such as A Hard Reindeer's A-Gonna Fall, Sleigh Lady Sleigh and Girl From The North Pole Country.
Dylan, 68, is currently playing shows around the US as part of his Never Ending Tour.
