How about Scissor Sisters?
Admittedly, the camp-glam disco doings of a band whose songs are unashamedly themed around Gay, Lesbian and Transgender politics might not at first spring directly to mind, but nevertheless, it's happening...
The group has been commissioned to create music for the upcoming Hollywood adaptation of the 80s kid's TV show after the band's American publisher Spirit Music signed an agreement with the Jim Henson Company.
It's not the first time that the two companies have collaborated...the highlight of the 2005 Brit Awards was undoubtedly the band's performance of 'Take Your Mama' backed by a horde of singing and dancing muppets.
