'Saviours' heading Down Under

UK Mercury Prize favourites alt-j are heading to Oz for a couple of preview shows next month.

Widely praised in the UK music press, the Cambridge-based quartet are being touted as saviours of the guitar-based indie rock genre...you can judge for yourself whether or not the hype is justified at a pair of gigs in Sydney and Melbourne on October 18 and 20.

Tour dates:

Thursday, October 18 – Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
Saturday, October 20 – Ding Dong Lounge, Melbourne

∆ (pronounced Alt-J) are a British indie rock quartet, formed in 2007. Their debut album An Awesome Wave was released in May 2012 in Europe and September 2012 in the United States and won the 2012 British Mercury Prize.
