The band's album Exile on Main Street was awarded the gong for Reissue of The Year at the Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards in London yesterday.
Wood, while admitting that he had nothing to do with the original record, said "But I've played these songs for the last 30 years and it's about time that I collected".

Ronald David "Ronnie" Wood (born 1 June 1947) is an English rock guitarist and bassist best known as a former member of The Jeff Beck Group, Faces, and a member of The Rolling Stones since 1975. He also plays lap and pedal steel guitar. Wood began his career in 1964, when he joined The Birds on guitar.
