Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant has revealed that he’s writing some original material for the group Band of Joy.

Band of Joy was formed in the 1960s before Plant’s Led Zep days, although their first release didn’t come until last year, with an album of covers by the likes of Richard Thompson, Low and Townes Van Zandt.

So it seems that after all these years Band of Joy is heading for their first album of original material... stay tuned for more news here on ABC DIG Music...
