Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Roger Waters and Dave Gilmour have all managed to weather the recession to be included in this year's Sunday Times Music Rich List.
Although record company execs and impresarios hold sway at the top of the list, Macca managed a creditable number 5 spot with an estimated fortune of around 790 million dollars, while his surviving Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr scraped in at number 14 with a measly 232 million. Sir Mick's esimated fortune of around 315 million dollars ranks him at No.7, while his Stones’ partner, Keith Richards isn't too far behind in number 10 spot with an estimated fortune of around 290 million smackers.
