Mumford and Sons are following in Oprah's footsteps...by forming their own book club.

Lead vocalist Marcus Mumford has announced that the first book to be dissected by the club will be Cormac McCarthy's All The Pretty Horses, though he had considered kicking off with Marcus Zusak's The Book Thief.

Mumford cites self-improvement as one of the main reasons for the project, saying "I want to read more. I believe that you write what you read...so maybe all of our writing will improve."
