Ramblin' man returns

Less than two months after receiving a new liver, Gregg Allman is ready to rock again.

The revitalised Allman Brothers Band will play three shows in Boston this November, their first since Allman underwent transplant surgery in June, after a history of chronic health problems related to Hepatitis C.

“I’m ready,” Gregg said in a statement. “I’ve been itching to play since I got the operation and am glad to be back.”
