Queenscliff lineup announced
This year's lineup is led by Bob Marley’s backing band, The Original Wailers, and also features Tim Finn, Little Birdy, Marcia Hines, Chilean virtuosos Nano Stern, Melbourne power popsters Even, Bertie Blackman, soul rocker Dan Sultan, Whitley, and Ed Kuepper and The Kowalski Collective.
After celebrating the music of Van Morrison at last year’s festival, in 2009 it’s all about the Rolling Stones with a tribute from Chris Jagger (Mick’s brother) and the swampy New Orleans sounds of his band, Atcha.
The world heritage listed site where it all happens includes venues from circus marquees to grand Victorian Ballroooms to intimate church spaces.
The Festival, which is proudly supported by ABC Dig Music, takes place from November 27 to 29.
