80s stalwarts Culture Club are reforming for a gig in Sydney on New Year's Eve.

They'll be joined by the likes of Jamiroquai, Pet Shop Boys and Pseudo Echo for the gig on a specially constructed site at Glebe Island.

Boy George and Co will perform a mix of old and new material on the night, with George commenting "The nostalgia thing is OK but it's a bit limited...we need to kind of do something new and incorporate the two things, the past and now."
