Old dogs, new tricks

London's Metropolis Studios will play host to a series of televised gigs by a gaggle of 60s music legends.

The gigs will be filmed for an upcoming TV series, ITV Legends, and a DVD will be released of each performance. Just 140 tickets are available for each show, priced at a hefty $300 each.

Acts booked so far include The Zombies, The Manfreds, Barclay James Harvest and Van Der Graf Generator.

The Zombies are an English rock band, formed in 1961 in St Albans and led by Rod Argent, on piano and keyboards, and vocalist Colin Blunstone. The group scored a UK and United States hit in 1964 with "She's Not There". In the USA two further singles, "Tell Her No" and, in 1968, "Time of the Season", were also successful.
