Oasis singer to star in film

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher will appear on the big screen in the upcoming film adaptation of Kevin Sampson's novel 'Powder'.

The film's story is of a band that succumbs to a life of sex and drugs after making it to the top.  While Gallagher's role is yet to be finalised, it is confirmed that he will star alongside dance music icon Guru Josh, who is known for his 1990 hit 'Infinity'. 

It has been a busy year for the 36 year old Oasis singer, who recently launched his own fashion label, Pretty Green. He is set to join the production right after Oasis' current tour finishes in August.
