The Beach Boys reunion is on the rocks after Mike Love 'sacked' fellow band members.

Band frontman Love has told Brian Wilson, Al Jardine and David Marks that their services are no longer required on the band's 50th anniversary tour, which will continue without them.

Guitarist Al Jardine is backing a petition to have himself and the others reinstated, while Brian Wilson reacted to the news by saying "I'm disappointed and can't understand why he doesn't want to tour with Al, David and me. We are out here having so much fun. After all, we are the real Beach Boys."
