Singer-songwriter Norah Jones has recruited a new band for her upcoming studio album.

Jones has teamed up with Ryan Adams, Okkervil River’s Will Sheff and some of the core members of Tom Waits’ band Mule Variations to work on her fourth studio album.  Adams and Sheff will also collaborate on song-writing duties, as will Jessie Harris, who penned Jones’ Grammy-winning 2002 hit Don’t Know Why.

Unlike previous albums, Jones has reportedly written the songs on guitar, rather than piano, which will give fans a different sound to look forward to.  The as-yet untitled album is due out this November.
