Nevermind at 20

Nirvana's 1991 classic Nevermind will get the deluxe makeover treatment to mark its 20th anniversary.

The album - which has already sold more than 30 million copies worldwide - will be reissued in a four-disc set which includes previously unreleased tracks, rarities and outtakes as well as a live in concert DVD.

The new set will be available from September 19.

Nirvana was an American rock band that was formed by singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987. Nirvana went through a succession of drummers, the longest-lasting being Dave Grohl, who joined the band in 1990. In the late 1980s Nirvana established itself as part of the Seattle grunge scene, releasing its first album Bleach for the independent record...

Ah...well spotted Jamil...we're all feeling our age this morning...it is Monday after all...and as for Wikipedia calling them 60s Prog-Rockers...well...never mind.
