Neil Young is set to become the latest rock heavyweight to enter the autobiography arena.

Young will release his tome Waging Heavy Peace in late 2012. "I felt like writing books fit me like a glove," he says, adding "I started and I just kept going".

A blurb from the book's publishers enthuses "This promises to be a revealing, intimate book that will provide the window into Neil's life and career that fans and admirers have always wanted".
