80s chart queen Sade is making music again.

The soulful English group fronted by the now 50-year-old singer Sade Adu will release a new album Soldier of Love on February 8th next year.

The record will be the first since 2000s Lover's Rock...the only time we've heard from the band since then was the song Mum, released on a charity DVD to aid the stricken Sudanese region of Dafour.

All five of Sade's studio albums have landed in the Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200, selling more than 50 million copies worldwide.

So no pressure, then...

Helen Folasade Adu OBE (born 16 January 1959; better known as Sade), is a British singer-songwriter, composer, and record producer. She first achieved success in the 1980s as the frontwoman and lead vocalist of the Brit and Grammy Award winning English group Sade.
