American rock outfit Pixies have added new dates to the Sydney and Melbourne legs of their upcoming Aussie tour.

The band will now play at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on March 14 and 15, as well as adding a third performance in Melbourne, after selling out their original two shows there.

The tour marks 20 years since the release of their classic album Doolittle, and to help mark the occasion, the band will be playing all the songs from the record plus assocaited B-sides.

This visit will be only the second to Australia by the band, and follows sell-out tours across Europe and the US this year.
