According to a statement on the band's official website, they've just wrapped recording on a ten-track disc with art rock's founding father.
“Ever since we had the pleasure of performing with Lou at the 25th Anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at Madison Square Garden in October of 2009, we have been kicking around the idea of making a record together.” says the band.
They say that the recording was quick, and that they are “beyond excited” and “can’t wait for you to listen” to it.
As yet there's no release date, though, so we'll just have to be patient...in the meantime...witness the 2009 collaboration here
