Massive Attack
Aug 28, 2009 Updated Aug 31, 2009

UK trip-hop band Massive Attack will release a new EP in October with an album to follow next year.

The duo's last record 100th Window was released over six years ago and fans have been waiting patiently since that time.  The 2010 album is set to be released next February with the suggested, but unconfirmed title Weather Underground.

The new EP will feature guest vocalist Tunde Adebimpe from TV On The Radio. He will also appear on the upcoming album, alongside Damon Albarn (Blur), Hope Sandoval (Mazzy Star), Martina Topley-Bird and Guy Garvey (Elbow).

Daddy G, one half of the duo also hinted at a 2010 Australian tour whilst speaking to Triple J's Richard Kingsmill.
“We're coming over soon so that's going to be great isn't it. We'll be over there sort of February.”

The new Massive Attack EP will be released on October 2.
