Macca back in NYC

For the first time since he played there with The Beatles 40-something years ago, Sir Paul McCartney has returned to New York's Ed Sullivan Theatre.

David Letterman devoted an entire Late Show episode to his chat with Macca, who capped off the programme by playing on the theatre's canopy, just above street level.

Performing a set that included The Beatles' classic Get Back, as well as material from his latest studio album, Sir Paul continued to play for the large midtown Manhattan crowd after the TV show had ended.
