The 36-year-old singer disappeared from the stage after saying to fans: "I hope you feel as uncomfortable as I feel."
This left brother Noel to grab the microphone and continue the show, commenting: "I think someone's in a bad mood."
It took Liam almost half an hour to dry off and return to the stage.
This incident is the latest in a long list of interesting audience interactions. Earlier this month, Noel called his brother "Hilarious but quite undignified" when Liam told fans to stop clapping at a concert. There was also the recent ticket refund debacle, where Oasis promised to repay fans their ticket costs after technical issues marred a concert.
Oasis are scheduled to play on Friday at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, where no doubt Liam's hoping fans will be a bit more polite...

I thought this was supposed to be music only radio - broadcast this on JJJ - I don't want to hear this drivel, it spoils the best radio I've ever found
