AC/DC
Aug 20, 2009 Updated Aug 21, 2009

A Canadian defence attorney has been granted an adjournment to attend an AC/DC gig.

Judge Morris Golden granted defense attorney Christian Banks an adjournment on an August 27 trial because the lawyer has AC/DC tickets.

When the judge asked the Alberta courtroom if there were any objections, the Crown prosecutor said he was "speechless", later commenting that he applauded the candour of the defence lawyer, but disagreed with his taste in music.

The trial in question related to the roadworthiness of a motor vehicle and failure of the driver to provide a breath sample and will now be heard in December.

Here’s hoping the man being charged is as into AC/DC as his attorney.

Following their overseas stint, AC/DC will play shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in February and March of next year, supported by Wolfmother.
