Guns N' Roses onstage
Aug 30, 2010 Updated Aug 31, 2010

Guns N' Roses have hit out at Reading Festival organisers in the UK after the plug was pulled on their set at the weekend.

The NME reports that after arriving onstage an hour late, the band had their set extended by half an hour, but that the power was cut at midnight to prevent festival organisers incurring hefty fines.

The band then staged a sit in on stage and performed their song 'Paradise City' acoustically.

Meanwhile, the band - who are due to headline at the V8 Supercars event in Sydney in December - have confirmed two additional Aussie shows in Townsville and Adelaide.

Axl Rose will be joined on tour by Tommy Stinson on bass, Dizzy Reed on keys, Bumblefoot on guitar, Chris Pitman on keys and bass, DJ Ashba on guitar, Richard Fortus on rhythm guitar and Frank Ferrer on drums.

Nu-metal comeback kids Korn will open the shows as the support act.

Dates:

Wednesday 1st December – Reid Park, Townsville
Tuesday 7th December – Entertainment Centre, Adelaide

Tickets go on sale on Tuesday 7th September.
