Kookaburra not gay
Fresh from the legal stoush surrounding the Men At Work song 'Down Under', this time it's the song's lyrics that are causing a kerfuffle.
Garry Martin, principal of Cheltenham's Lepage Primary School in Victoria has taken it upon himself to change the line "Gay your life must be" replacing the word "gay" with "fun".
Norman Laurie, MD of Larrikin Records, which owns the rights to the song, claimed that although the change was technically a copyright breach, he wouldn't be taking any action.
