Music and merchandise often go hand in hand, but sometimes things can go a little too far...

This week, arch-salesmen KISS have teamed up with the Japanese Hello Kitty brand to create a range of toilet paper, while in the UK, a major chain store has decided to withdraw a line of Justin Bieber-decorated nightdresses which they say could easily catch fire.

The mind, as they say, boggles.
