Joy Down Under
Hook embarked upon the tour in April to mark the 30th Anniversary of Joy Division’s debut album. The shows will see the bassist “and friends” perform Unknown Pleasures in its entirety, as well as a number of the band’s evergreen hits including Love Will Tear Us Apart and Transmission.
Tour Dates:
Friday 24th September – Palais Theatre, Melbourne
Saturday 25th September – The Enmore, Sydney
Monday 27 September – Tivoli, Brisbane

Joy Division were an English rock band formed in 1976 in Salford, Greater Manchester. Originally named Warsaw, the band primarily consisted of Ian Curtis (vocals and occasional guitar), Bernard Sumner (guitar and keyboards), Peter Hook (bass guitar and backing vocals) and Stephen Morris (drums and percussion).
