Johnny Cash’s 'American VI: Ain’t No Grave', featuring the final recordings the Man in Black ever made, will be released next month.

The CD will hit the shops on what would have been Cash's 78th birthday, February 26th.

Cash began recording American VI in 2002 and worked on it right up until his death on September 12th, 2003. The record's producer Rick Rubin said in a statement: “Johnny said that recording was his main reason for being alive. I think it was the only thing that kept him going,”
