The late singer-song-writer Jeff Buckley is the subject of a new photographic exhibition on this month at South Melbourne's The Raw Gallery.

The show will feature the work of Brooklyn-based photographer Merri Cyr, who captured Buckley in pictures between 1992 and 1997, before he drowned in the Mississippi River.

The exhibition - 'Jeff Buckley - A Wished For Song' - opens Friday November 27 and runs until December 24 at the newly opened gallery, which specialises in Rock and Pop cultural imagery.

The Raw Gallery is located at 250 Park Street, South Melbourne.
