JBT To Headline Adelaide Benefit
The John Butler Trio will headline the latest bushfire/flood benefit gig to be announced, as the Melbourne leg of the Sound Relief concerts sells-out.
The fundraiser at the Governor Hindmarsh on 9 April will be the trio's only Adelaide show this year.
Tickets go on sale next Monday, 16 March.
Meanwhile, in Melbourne the Sound Relief concert to be held at the MCG has sold out, becoming the largest paid concert event ever held in Australia. Kylie Minogue has been confirmed as MC for the concert.
More than 78,000 tickets have been sold for the Melbourne event, while extra tickets have been added for the Sydney concert, which will be headlined by Coldplay.
"This is the type of event that you'll be telling your grandchildren about many years from now," co-organiser Michael Chugg said.

The John Butler Trio are an Australian roots and jam band led by guitarist and vocalist John Butler. They formed in Fremantle in 1998 with Jason McGann on drums and Gavin Shoesmith on basses. By 2009, the trio was Butler with Nicky Bomba on drums and percussion, and Byron Luiters on basses.
